Rokos Group is pleased to announce we have been retained to conduct a search for the new Director, Emergency Care Services for Valley Presbyterian Hospital located in Van Nuys, California.
Valley Presbyterian Hospital (VPH) is a 350-bed, full-service, stand-alone, not-for-profit acute-care community hospital located in Van Nuys, California. The hospital is recognized as a Cardiac ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) Receiving Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Pediatric Medical Center, with a designated Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). Fully accredited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Healthcare, VPH employs approximately 1,700 staff and 250 physicians and generates about $500 million in annual revenue.

Requirements
Three to five years of clinical nursing experience relevant to Emergency Services required, including adult and pediatric patient populations.
Three to five years of upper management or supervisory experience required; director-level experience required.
Current RN licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably BSN or other healthcare-related field; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required for senior leadership.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required; NIHSS and stroke certification within required timeframe.
LA City Fire Card certification at time of hire or within 30 days required; Management of Aggressive Behavior certification within 60 days required.
RNC or specialty certification, Nursing Administration certification, or related credential preferred.
