Position Summary
We are seeking an attorney to handle a range of civil legal matters in both transactional and litigation contexts.
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of post-licensure experience and a strong interest in commercial transactions and litigation, loan documentation, real estate transactions, foreclosures, bankruptcies, collections, and/or estate planning and administration.
This position offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and staff in a collaborative environment. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on a range of civil legal matters under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and client solutions.
- Maintain client files and manage a highvolume workload while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and internal decisionmaking.
- Draft pleadings, memoranda, briefs, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, depositions, negotiations, and other legal proceedings as appropriate.
- Review and draft agreements, contracts, and other transactional or estaterelated documents.
- Interact with clients to provide updates, guidance, and highquality client service.
Requirements
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in general civil legal practice.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, curious, and detail oriented.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
