Job Summary
Seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with strong gynecological, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional with excellent clinical skills and a team-focused approach.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions.
Prescribe necessary medications and treatments.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Assess psychosocial and family factors relevant to patient care.
Promote and maintain family health through screenings and preventive care.
Manage common acute and chronic illnesses, minor trauma, and episodic issues.
Provide patient counseling and education.
Perform minor surgical procedures and initiate life-saving measures when needed.
Coordinate care and consult with collaborating physicians or specialists.
Requirements
Qualifications
Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure.
Current Registered Nurse licensure.
Current BLS certification (or obtained prior to providing patient care).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in women’s health.
