Do you have a passion for teaching the game of golf and delivering exceptional experiences to members and guests? If so, Green Spring Valley Hunt Club invites you to join our professional staff as a Teaching Professional.
At GSVHC, the Club and Head Professional are committed to supporting your growth as a teacher and professional through mentorship, hands-on experience, and continued educational opportunities. You'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, develop innovative instructional programs, and help players of all ages and skill levels reach their goals.
We are seeking a Teaching Professional who embodies:
- Professionalism in instruction, service, and daily interactions
- Strong attention to detail in planning and delivering programs
- A collaborative, team-first mindset to support the golf staff and membership
- Personal and professional drive to grow as an instructor and mentor players
- Proficiency with technology (swing analysis tools, launch monitors, video, etc.) to enhance the learning experience
As part of our team, you'll enjoy the opportunity to teach, play, and practice in a setting that values tradition while embracing innovation-all within a supportive environment committed to excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group instruction to players of all ages and skill levels.
- Design and implement instructional programs, including junior golf, ladies' clinics, and specialized player development initiatives.
- Utilize modern teaching tools and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Assist with club events, member engagement, and the overall promotion of the game.
- Collaborate with the Golf Professional staff to support day-to-day golf operations when needed.
- Provide custom club fitting and equipment recommendations.
- Maintain an approachable, enthusiastic, and professional presence on the practice facilities and golf
