Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is looking for a dedicated Staff Recruiter to join our team and help us build a workforce that supports our mission.
This position is on-site in Yakima, Washington with ability to work a hybrid schedule.
We've transformed into a leading community health center. With 40+ clinics across Washington and Oregon, we offer a wide range of services such as medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, and behavioral health. Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics. Who We're Looking For:
- Someone with a background in recruitment, with a solid understanding of the high volume and fast-paced nature of the industry.
- Strong ability to work with various stakeholders, ensuring smooth and effective communication and collaboration.
- A love for outreach activities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in healthcare recruitment is a significant plus.
- This position requires the ability to travel including overnight stays.
Position Highlights:
- $31.20-$40.02/hour DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates.

What You'll Do:
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process, including identifying, screening, interviewing, hiring, and presenting qualified candidates to leadership for potential hire.
- Plan and execute recruitment activities for assigned business units.
- Attend job fairs, conferences, and other events to promote Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic and build a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Partner with recruitment leadership and hiring managers to create overall sourcing strategies for filling new and high-volume positions.
- Maintain knowledge of the business units and individual positions in the area of responsibility.
- Maintain up-to-date applicant and employee data in applicant tracking software systems.
- Conduct reference verifications and facilitates background checks. Administer job-related assessments and tests.
- Develop job offers through a pay equity lens, using internal equity analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners within the community. Coordinate all outreach efforts to secure talent from the community's candidate pools.
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership to grow brand awareness and support organization recruitment efforts.
- Create and maintain a social media presence that promotes open positions and create candidate engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration or related field AND at least 2 years of professional Recruiter or HR Generalist experience with duties including pre-screening candidates, participating in interviews, college recruiting and/or providing guidance to hiring managers, OR
- Associate's Degree AND at least 4 years of professional Recruiter or HR Generalist experience with duties including pre-screening candidates, participating in interviews, college recruiting and/or providing guidance to hiring managers, OR
- High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 years of professional Recruiter or HR Generalist experience with duties including pre-screening candidates, participating in interviews, college recruiting and/or providing guidance to hiring managers.
Professional Licenses/Certificates
PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) certification preferred but not required.
