Description
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight and leadership to the Transfer Agency team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Guide and support the team in their day-to-day duties, including due diligence reviews, KYC processes, and transaction monitoring (subscriptions and redemptions).
- Oversee initial CDD and investor onboarding, ensuring adherence to AML/KYC and fund documentation requirements.
- Participate in escalation discussions for investors with potential compliance concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely records for all fund and corporate structures.
- Deliver investor and other reporting within agreed client and regulatory timelines.
- Collaborate with senior management to enhance use of technology platforms, driving process efficiency and improving quality of output.
- Manage and resolve queries from clients, auditors, and internal teams promptly and professionally.
- Support the establishment of new structures and business transitions in line with company procedures.
- Foster and maintain strong client and advisor relationships, demonstrating deep knowledge of structures, responsiveness, and market insight.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the Transfer Agency function and its regulatory framework.
- Proven experience applying AML / KYC legislation in a funds or financial services environment.
- Strong leadership and team management experience with a focus on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a fund administration or investment management environment at a senior level.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of financial services regulation and legal requirements.
