Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:
The Commercial Pain Training Senior Manager will help enhance the skills and knowledge competencies of customer-facing teams, including Field Sales, Account Managers, and Guidance and Patient Support (GPS). This role will be primarily responsible for developing and executing training programs for the field teams and managing the day-to-day Commercial needs for the Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with commercial marketing, sales, account management, and GPS to identify training needs and recommend solutions
- Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs and workshops as required
- Identify, design, create and facilitate effective content that improves the desired outcome for our field teams
- Manage the processes associated with the Communications Review Committee (CRC), procurement and strategic sourcing, vendor management activities, budget management, and FFE leadership
- Responsible for coaching, developing, and facilitating in new hire and onboarding training programs
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance gaps and develop training initiatives to drive results
- Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered
- Represent the Commercial team and administer programs and content in Vertex U., our enterprise Learning Management System (LMS)
- Effectively manage multiple vendors for content design and development when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced project management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with instructional design and facilitating training workshops to small and large groups
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects that require collaboration across functional areas
- Ability to work and coordinate cross-nationally
- Demonstrated proficiency across Microsoft Office and associated tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (e.g., mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
- Experience in LMS administration
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- Typically requires 6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years sales experience
- Knowledge of Vertex systems, processes, and compliance standards
- Demonstrated interest in training (Gig, informal team role, and/or mentoring)
- Familiar with the pain marketplace, pain disease state and JOURNAVX™ (suzetrigine) product profile
- Experience with virtual customer engagements and the systems required to execute business
Pay Range:
$138,400 - $207,600
Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
