Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager -Human Resources to join our global HR team at our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. The Sr. Manager partners with plant leadership and corporate HR teams to drive organizational performance and workforce engagement aligned with the HR mission, and the compliance with all HR practices and employment laws. Person in this role has to be a Lutron culture ambassador and ensure we are hiring the best, developing employees to their full, treating them well and fairly and ensure a respectful, safe, secure work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations in a dynamic, high-performance manufacturing environment.  

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: 

Develop strategies aligned with business goals and manufacturing objectives across all assigned sites. Drive execution and implementation by local HR teams of such strategies.

Serve as a trusted advisor to plant and corporate leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.

Drive a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development and engagement.

Develop HR solutions, programs, and policies to support corporate initiatives.

Talent Management & Development

Lead succession planning and talent pipeline initiatives for key manufacturing roles.

Partner with corporate talent development team to bring on site leadership training programs and employee development initiatives.

Lead local HR teams and work with local operations leaders to identify and address skill gaps.

Employee Relations & Engagement

Promote positive employee relations and maintain open communication channels between employees and management.

Manage complex employee relations issues and investigations, ensuring consistency and compliance.

Support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.

Anticipate the needs of the organization and proactively drive people strategies that differentiate Lutron as an employer.HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee HR operations across sites including recruiting, staffing, compensation, and benefits administration.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Develop and implement consistent HR processes, metrics, and reporting tools across all facilities.

Coordinate with corporate HR communication strategies to ensure alignment and consistency across all sites.

Qualifications



 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field required.

Master's degree or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.

At least 20 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with minimum 5-8 years supporting multiple manufacturing or industrial locations.

Proven success in developing and leading multi-site HR teams.

Proven knowledge of labor law, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.

Ability to manage competing priorities and travel regularly to multiple locations.
