We are looking for a skilled Angular developer who understands how to write clear and maintainable code but also has a solid understanding of architectural best practices, modern frameworks, and the importance of creating intuitive user experiences that make a real impact.
About the Role
As our Senior Front End Developer, you'll design and implement modern web applications using Angular for our Contract Information Hub - the central platform for P&C Treaty and Facultative contract administration. You'll deliver intuitive user interfaces that enable efficient contract information management while collaborating with teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for the Contract Information Hub, serving internal users across the organization
- Review and approve pull requests to ensure code quality, consistency, coding standards, and maintainability of front-end code
- Guide and mentor development teams on Angular best practices, sharing your expertise to elevate overall team performance
- Solve complex UI/UX problems by leveraging your experience and technical knowledge to optimize application performance and user experience
- Research and implement emerging front-end technologies to continuously improve our solutions and stay ahead of industry trends
About the Team
Our team develops, extends and maintains business applications with a primary focus on the Contract Information Hub - Swiss Re's central platform for P&C Treaty and Facultative contract administration. This system serves as one of the key building blocks in our P&C's Hub Architecture. We closely collaborate with other teams around the globe to ensure seamless integration within our ecosystem.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Proven experience developing web applications using Angular (Angular 2+)
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development practices
- Understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
These are additional nice to haves:
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience with design systems
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Jest
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and front-end build tools
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 3,800] and [EUR 6,300] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
