About You and The Role:
As a Salesforce Administrator you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining our Salesforce platform to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization. You will serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce users, ensuring system efficiency, promoting user adoption, and implementing best practices. You will be technically proficient and business-minded, with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate stakeholder needs into functional solutions.
A Day in The Life:
System Management & Enhancements
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve Salesforce functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Gather and analyze requirements from internal stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
- Manage Salesforce configuration, including fields, objects, workflows, automation, validation rules, and AppExchange integrations.
- Oversee system changes and releases to minimize disruption to users.
- Maintain dashboards, reports, and views to provide actionable insights for leadership and department heads.
System Integrity & Security
- Maintain system security, including roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing settings.
- Manage user setup, profiles, licenses, and data access.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, duplicate management, and data cleansing.
- Monitor storage usage and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
User Support, Training & Adoption
- Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert and primary point of contact for user questions and support.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for new and existing users.
- Promote user engagement and adoption through communication, mentorship, and best practice sharing.
- Collaborate with leadership to leverage Salesforce as a strategic tool for sales, operations, and customer engagement.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support and ensure data accuracy for executive summaries and performance tracking.
- Partner with management to create data-driven processes that enhance efficiency and transparency.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and document workflows, field mappings, and business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Salesforce capabilities with organizational goals.
- Support data migrations and integrations with other business systems as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: 35 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, reporting, dashboards, workflows, and automation tools.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification strongly preferred.
- Proven experience re-engineering existing configurations to optimize processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands for computer operation.
- Occasional standing, walking, or reaching as needed.
- Visual acuity for computer and document work.
- Work environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise level, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts or vehicles.
