Seeking-Land Agents, Right of Way Specialists, Real Estate Title Experts

- Responsible for preparing and reviewing real estate contracts, detailed Real Estate Planning Reports and Real Estate Summary and Lease Planning Reports, required in planning the acquisition of real estate.
- Assist in reviewing title evidence for compliance with applicable USACE and the Department of Justice standards identifying potential issues.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of agreements in cases of multiple ownerships and varied interests and provides initial findings to those who conduct negotiations with landowners in such cases.
- Personally make contacts with rightful owners, lessors, and tenants to negotiate for the purchase of land in fee, easement, or lease of property.
- Furnish real estate data and technical advice to all branches of Real Estate Division and to other elements of the District.
Requirements
Up to 50% travel required.
Valid Driver's License
You may qualify for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with agency policy.
