Job Summary:
The Cloud Practice Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the cloud practice. This includes managing administrative tasks, coordinating resources, tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, and assisting with reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a foundational understanding of cloud technologies and service delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Operations Support
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Maintain and update cloud practice documentation, templates, and knowledge base.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilization metrics.
- Resource Coordination
- Support onboarding and offboarding of cloud team members.
- Maintain resource allocation and availability records.
- Coordinate with HR and finance for staffing and billing matters.
- Project and Portfolio Management
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Assist in preparing status reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and client requirements.
- Financial and Contractual Support
- Help manage budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking.
- Support contract administration and renewals.
- Liaise with procurement and legal teams as needed.
- Tool and Platform Administration
- Maintain access and permissions for cloud platforms and collaboration tools.
- Support license management and usage tracking.
- Assist with audits and security reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in administrative or coordination roles, preferably in IT or cloud services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
$137,400 - 233,600 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
