Job Purpose:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting Air Culinaire Worldwide marketing and sales strategy through communications with both customers, prospects, and employees. Under the direction of the SVP, the Marketing Coordinator will introduce our services, people and products to our installed customer base, and prospects. The Marketing Coordinator will understand and refer to department documents for strategy, tactics, policies, and budget for the fiscal year.
Responsibilities and Associated Duties:
- Assist & define, develop, and deploy social media tactics across social network communities; WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Code Two. Test emerging social media channels and determine if they are a valuable addition to our current communications plan.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars and integrate social media assets with other assets (website, email, applications, etc.).
- Increase the value of our blog by identifying key corporate flight attendants and members of the industry who are in other areas of the business aviation ecosystem who are candidates for blog spotlights and / or to serve as guest authors.
- Administer updates to company website and blog, as necessary.
- Develop press releases and communicate them to industry media contacts through email marketing and to our industry through our blog and social media channels. Work with Universal's communications team to ensure compliance.
- Ensure brand standards, brand integrity, brand image and messaging are maintained.
- Update and develop sales tools as needed to support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with UWA marketing department for industry marketing opportunities such as NBAA national & regional forums, cargo tradeshows, etc.
- Collaborate and understand UWA's social media initiatives to leverage their expertise.
- Curate, design, and procure promotional collateral
- Design and produce marketing materials for all kitchens to support their marketing needs: car wraps, marketing materials, signage, etc.
- Create designs and layouts for marketing materials
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the SVP.
Measures of Success:
- Ability to maintain and increase social media "likes" and positive comments on various platforms by 10% every 6 months.
- Ability to keep Social Media content in the pipeline for 90 days or more that is effective, time appropriate and promotes key attributes of ACW (sharing spotlight with many locations & departments)
- Implement quarterly email campaigns that support Social Media messages and keep our installed customer base informed of the latest news.
- Update sales & marketing tools as needed to ensure older versions of sales tools are archived and new tools have the proper naming convention.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Experience with social media tools & resources such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiar with successful posting techniques to increase followers on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
- Experience in multiple aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in marketing and social media marketing
- Must be highly organized, detail orientated and prioritize cross-functional duties.
- Must possess strong written and verbal skills & be fluent in English.
