Position Summary
The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that software applications and systems meet business requirements and deliver the expected value to end users. This position involves working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to plan, execute, and report on user acceptance testing activities. The UAT Manager validates that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, and ready for deployment. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Validate acceptance criteria by developing a UAT test strategy, detailed end to end test scenarios, and identifying key data needs to support end to end testing.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT activities, including test execution, defect identification, and resolution tracking.
- Document test results, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate findings and progress to project teams and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Ensure all business processes are properly validated against system functionalities.
- Support training and onboarding for end users participating in UAT cycles.
- Work with IT and development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and retesting as needed.
- Participate in go-live readiness assessments and provide sign-off on UAT completion.
Required Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in software testing, user acceptance testing, or quality assurance.
- 5 + years of strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- 3 + years of excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- 3 + years of ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with test management tools
- Knowledge of functional test automation and test coverage prioritization techniques.
- Familiarity with agile project management and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience in end-user training and support.
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of the following:
- Prior Authorization processes and applications
- Case Management systems process and applications
- Supporting clinical PBM products
- Salesforce
- PEGA platforms
Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
