2025-2026 District Goals
1. Portrait of a Hornet
Continue the implementation of the Portrait of a Hornet, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to grow in character, take ownership of their behavior, and develop leadership skills. This initiative aligns our daily work with a larger purpose-preparing students to leave our district as confident, capable, and community-minded individuals who live out the values of the Hornet every day.
2. MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
Fully implement MTSS to meet the instructional and social-emotional needs of students. The residual effects of the pandemic-including learning loss, trauma, anxiety, and disengagement-require us to move beyond traditional models of instruction and discipline. MTSS provides a systematic framework for identifying and addressing both learning gaps and emotional needs in real time through data-informed strategies and tiered interventions.
3. District Connections
Enhance relationships across schools to maximize student achievement and foster staff collaboration. Initiatives include vertical articulation, Hornet Walks, student mentoring programs, and student reading partnerships, all aimed at building a stronger, more connected school community.
