Description

• Coordinating all Junior Tour activities, including: 28 Junior Tour events, six upper level Junior Series events, and two SDGA Junior Championships.
• Communicating regularly with players and parents regarding junior programming.
• Overseeing Junior Tour events and periodically attending events throughout the state.
• Assisting with SDGA Championship event administration.
• Evaluating SDGA interns based on event performance and administrative contributions.
• Supervising Junior Tour Staff including:
  • Registration and Golf Genius Tournament Management Administration,
  • Course and Event Set-up and Tear-down,
  • Monitoring Pace-of-Play and Scoring.

• Strong desire to be involved in golf administration and work in a team environment.
• Golf background and a basic understanding of the Rules of Golf.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional interpersonal skills with juniors, parents, staff and host course personnel.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work full event days, including weekends.
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50lbs of equipment.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time while performing administrative duties.
• Own and operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to live in, or near, Sioux Falls during the summer season.
• Willingness to travel throughout the state (SDGA fleet vehicle or mileage reimbursement).
