- Human Resources Director/Risk Manager
Description
Under the direction of the City Manager, this position is responsible for developing, administering, and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall strategic direction of the City, specifically in the areas of talent, recruitment and retention management, position classification, pay administration, human relations, succession planning, organizational and performance management, labor relations, training and development, budget, and compensation. Is responsible for risk prevention strategy for the City specifically in the areas of Workers Compensation and Liability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree in the like preferred; and seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications:
Possession of or ability to obtain SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP within one (1) year of hire.
Possession of a valid, State of Florida driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment.
