Overview

Rotonda Golf & Country Club, one of Florida's largest multi-course golf facilities, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Golf Professional who also want to be in management.

This is a great opportunity for a PGA Pro. Become the Pro and assistant manager of one of the courses and clubhouses in a Multi course facility. Working directly under the GM of the entire complex.

The Head Golf Professional/Assistant GM will lead day-to-day operations, drive guest satisfaction, elevate member engagement, oversee tournament programming, and manage a club house team and shop staff. This is a leadership role within a well-established, year-round club committed to exceptional service and continuous improvement.

  • Class A PGA Member in good standing (preferred) or currently pursuing PGA membership.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Head Golf Professional or First Assistant role at a high-volume facility.
  • Previous management experiences preferred but not required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage staff, operations, and course logistics.
  • Experience with golf shop merchandising, tournament administration, and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Publisher, ForeUp software or other POS software and tee time system.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Oversee golf operations and clubhouse, ensuring consistency in service, policies, and guest/member experience.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule Inside and Outside Staff and services.
  • Plan, organize, and execute tournaments, leagues, outings, and instructional programs for members, guests, and outside groups.
  • Serve as the face of the club's golf experience, fostering member relationships and resolving customer service issues.
  • Work closely with Full Facility General Manager, Course Superintendents, and F&B teams to ensure smooth, high-quality operations.
  • Manage golf shop operations including merchandising, inventory control, sales, and point-of-sale management.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies, and industry best practices.
  • Promote grow-the-game initiatives, and player development programming.
  • Maintain a visible presence during peak times to engage with members and guests.
  • Coordinate tee sheets, pace of play, and course access to maximize player satisfaction and operational efficiency.
