GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Through cross-functional communications, this individual directs, implements, and coordinates Joint Venture
operational activities between the business unit management and TMG Executive management. Oversee a
collaborative business undertaking, focusing on setting strategic goals, managing operations and budgets,
ensuring partner alignment, and driving financial performance to meet the objectives of the participating
entities. Key responsibilities include monitoring Mentor Protégé Agreements, leading project execution,
managing stakeholder relationships, driving growth, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Provide the
overall management of program, personnel, planning, quality control, business management, direction,
coordination and reviews necessary to assure successful contract performance of each opportunity entering the
business pipeline. The General Manager shall serve as a counterpart to, and interface with, each customer and
executive management of partners and potential partners. The General Manager shall be matrixed to the VP of
Business Development until determined by the President of TMG.
DUTIES
Partner with business unit managers on the development of overall strategic objectives and long-range goals
for the Joint Venture that align with Tyonek's Corporate Strategy. Ensure the Joint Venture achieves its business
objectives by providing tactical direction and oversight.
Lead the identification, engagement, and negotiation with JV partner to form and structure the development,
capture, and oversight of current and future contracts.
Meet with current and future customers to develop solutions that address operational needs, concerns, or
issues.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the JV, ensuring efficient project execution and implementation of
systems and controls by collaborating with Functional Managers to identify problems and drive efforts to
resolve the issues for the customer and the company.
Create and manage budgets, monitor financial performance (P&L, ROI), control costs, and ensure financial
accountability for the JV and the projects it captures.
Oversee projects from initial planning and feasibility through development and completion, coordinating with
various teams and stakeholders.
Work with corporate management to build the business and support the policies and procedures of the
company.
Evaluate local policies/procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Travel is required.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, and preferably a master's degree, from an accredited college or university. It is preferred that
the candidate acquired this education and experience in one or more of the following technical areas of
specialization: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Industrial.
A minimum of 15 years of experience related to complex missile and/or aviation system hardware design,
fabrication, assembly, and test methods, techniques and processes.
A minimum of years in a leadership position with at least eight-years' experience interpreting contract actions,
modifications and resolving complex programmatic issues as related to the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) Statements of Work (SOW).
Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a variety of customers on a variety of different projects/plans.
Demonstrated team building and leadership skills with the ability to organize competing priorities and
communicate those priorities to management and front-line employees.
Ability to communicate and uphold corporate policies and procedures.
Must have the ability to manage budgets based on project requirements.
Proficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must be a US Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. The Clearance process will include
requesting a credit history.
Military or government service is preferred.

below shoulders.
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
