My client, an established yet fast-growing investment management firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join its high-performing middle-office team. Key Responsibilities

Trade Support & Execution Control

• Capture and validate trade bookings.
• Monitor trade confirmations, settlements, and allocations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and fund administrators to resolve trade breaks and settlement discrepancies.
• Assist in managing trade life-cycle events, ensuring data integrity across internal and external systems.

Fund Operations & Administration

• Reconcile daily positions, P&L, and cash balances with fund administrators and custodians.
• Oversee corporate actions, income processing, and stock loan activities.
• Prepare NAV-related operational inputs and coordinate with third-party administrators for accurate valuations.
• Support subscription, redemption, transfer, and switching processes, ensuring timely execution and documentation.
• Track and monitor management, performance, and administrative fees, ensuring correct calculation and settlement.

Cash & Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash operations, payment instructions, and inter-account transfers.
• Monitor fund liquidity, margin requirements, and financing positions.

Oversight & Governance

• Maintain ongoing communication with external service providers, including custodians, prime brokers, administrators, and auditors.
• Support the preparation of Operational Due Diligence (ODD) materials, audit deliverables, and regulatory filings.
• Review and enhance operational manuals, workflows, and process documentation regularly.

Process Enhancement & Systems Development

• Contribute to system upgrades and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements and risk-reduction measures.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of experience within fund operations, fund accounting, or a related field.
• Background: Open to fund admin / sell-side / buy-side / other relevant industry
• Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail; able to solve problems with accuracy and independence.
• Agile and adaptable mindset, comfortable in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - collaborates effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Excel, VBA, Python preferred.
