- Family Support Services Administrator
Description
Civilian position responsible for recruitment, engagement, development, oversight, and administration of the Family Support Network (FSN) & Chaplain Corp including volunteers, programs, and services provided. These programs provide resources related to mental, spiritual, and financial health for the Agency members and their spouse/significant other and immediate family. Administration includes but is not limited to maintaining quality control program management measures to ensure effective service delivery and programmatic growth indicators. This position includes the administering of events from the Family Support Network and Chaplain Corps and organizational leadership to volunteers. This position requires the exercise of leadership, ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement. EOE/ADA
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an A.C.E. accredited college/university and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in community engagement, ministry, or mental health services is required. A high school diploma and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in community engagement, ministry, and/or mental health services may be considered in lieu of degree. Prior community engagement and ministry experience is required. Upon hire or transfer into this position, Peer Support Training is required and must meet all qualifications required to obtain basic chaplain credentials through the International Conference of Police Chaplains. Strong written communication and interpersonal skills is required. Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.

The physical abilities listed below are estimates of time spent during a typical workday to perform essential functions and responsibilities. Members in this position may be required to:
Sit up to 7 hours per day
Stand up to 8 hours per day
Walk up to 8 hours per day
Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Occasionally bend, squat, reach, kneel or twist
Other Requirements:
20/40 vision (corrected/uncorrected)
Ability to hear conversation at a normal level (assisted or unassisted)
Ability to work in hazardous conditions
