Description
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Management & Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement tailored investment strategies aligned with the family's objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term financial goals.
- Manage multi-asset class portfolios, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, hedge funds, venture capital, and alternative investments.
- Conduct regular reviews of asset allocation to ensure optimal diversification and performance.
- Investment Analysis & Due Diligence:
- Perform in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes.
- Conduct due diligence on external fund managers, direct investments, and co-investment opportunities.
- Evaluate market trends, macroeconomic factors, and geopolitical risks to inform investment decisions.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and provide detailed reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Identify underperforming assets and recommend adjustments to improve returns while mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with external advisors, fund managers, banks, and other service providers to access high-quality investment opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8-15 years of experience in investment management or portfolio management within a family office or similar environment is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, portfolio construction principles, and risk management techniques.
- Exceptional ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed investment decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with external advisors and service providers.
- Fluent English is required
