Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and continuous enhancement of the fund operations framework, ensuring effective governance across the full fund lifecycle.

2. Oversee day‑to‑day fund operational activities including fund setup, investment operations, cash management, valuation, reporting, and investor servicing.

3. Establish and maintain robust operational policies, controls, and standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

4. Drive process optimization and operational scalability through standardized workflows and effective cross‑functional coordination.

5. Implement strong operational risk management practices, including monitoring, review mechanisms, and internal control frameworks.

6. Lead the digital transformation of fund operations, including the implementation of operational systems and data governance frameworks.

7. Identify and deploy AI‑enabled solutions to enhance automation, operational monitoring, reporting processes, and risk management capabilities.

8. Partner closely with internal teams or departments to ensure seamless operational support for business growth.

9. Collaborate with fellow directors to support organizational development and talent pipeline building, fostering a high‑performing team with strong professional expertise and execution capability.

Qualifications

1. Master's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in fund operations or asset management operations within asset managers, fund administrators, or financial institutions.

3. Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end fund lifecycle, including fund setup, investment operations, valuation, cash management, and reporting.

4. Demonstrated experience in operational framework design, process improvement, and internal control implementation.

5. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives, data governance, or operational technology platforms within asset management.

6. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
