A boutique foreign asset management company is currently hiring a Compliance Officer to join their Compliance team and perform all-round compliance duties for the company.

Your new role

• Manage both regulatory and general compliance matters, including licencing procedures, personal account dealing, compliance training initiatives, and reporting/filing obligations to regulatory authorities
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a risk-based compliance review program and conduct assessments to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory standards
• Assist in the evaluation of business operations, product due diligence, KYC/CDD documentation, marketing materials, and other legal or compliance-related content
• Identify and escalate key findings to senior team members, and support the development of due diligence reports and related deliverables.
• Help maintain and update compliance policies and procedures, monitor various control registers, and carry out industry research and regulatory gap analyses in response to evolving regulations.
• Provide assistance during regulatory enquiries, audits, and inspections
• Execute ad hoc assignments and special projects as directed by management

What you'll need to succeed

• University graduates, preferably with a major in law / business / accounting or related discipline.
• Requires 1-2 years of Compliance/AML experience in banking/asset management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and Word, would be an advantage; knowledge in
  Macro is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and committed
• Proactive, good team player and flexible to adapt to a changing environment.
