Description
Wildewood Springs I Condominium Association – Bradenton, Florida
Are you an experienced Community Association Manager who is ready to step away from juggling multiple properties and instead focus on one established, well-run community where your leadership, relationships, and operational expertise can truly make a difference?
Wildewood Springs I Condominium Association is seeking a full-time, on-site General Manager to become an integral part of our community and leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who values stability, long-term stewardship, and the ability to work closely with one Board, one staff, and one group of residents — without the constant travel, competing priorities, and divided attention that come with managing a portfolio.
Located on Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast in Bradenton, Wildewood Springs is an 88-acre residential community with 558 one- and two-story condominium units (avoiding the regulatory complexity of high-rise properties), lush grounds, multiple pools and recreational amenities, and a dedicated on-site maintenance and administrative team. Our next General Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding daily operations, long-range planning, and the overall quality of life for residents, while building trusted, lasting relationships throughout the community.
Why This Role Is Different:
- Single-Community Focus: No portfolio management, no driving between properties, and no competing Boards. Your attention is devoted to one community and one mission.
- Stability & Continuity: An established association with long-tenured residents, professional staff, and an engaged Board.
- Meaningful Relationships: The opportunity to truly know your residents, staff, and contractors, and to become a respected, long-term leader within the community.
- Proactive Leadership: Time and space to plan, improve systems, and lead strategically — not just respond to emergencies.
- Quality of Life: A coastal Florida location offering year-round outdoor living, beautiful surroundings, and a balanced lifestyle.
- Smooth Onboarding: The retiring General Manager will stay on as a consultant during the transition to provide guidance, institutional knowledge, and support, helping the new Manager step into the role with confidence.
The Role:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall administration, operations, and maintenance of the Association and will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the community is safe, well-maintained, financially sound, and in full compliance with governing documents and Florida statutes.
This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing office and maintenance staff, coordinating vendors and contractors, managing budgets and contracts, supporting Board and committee operations, and serving as the primary point of contact for residents. While the role includes traditional office responsibilities, it also requires regular site presence, inspections, and engagement throughout the property. Availability for emergencies and time-sensitive matters is required.
