Description
About Us
Shore Financial is Australia’s #1 independent brokerage, founded in 2013 with a focus on delivering a comprehensive range of services, including residential home loans, commercial lending, asset finance, commercial property syndication, financial planning, insurance, and our own home loan products. We are proud to support our clients, brokers, and partners with market-leading products, training, and customer service.
As we continue to build out our financial services offering, we are looking to grow our financial planning team. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with ease.
The Role
Our Client Services Officer role is perfect for someone who wants exposure across the full financial-planning lifecycle and is motivated to grow with a small but ambitious practice. You will be working closely to a lead financial adviser and be a primary contact for clients and a key support to the lead adviser across administration, implementation, strategy execution and review cycles.
Core responsibilities include:
Client Service & Communication
Managing inbound and outbound client communication (phone, email, virtual and in-person).
Ensuring every client interaction is professional, warm and consistent with our service standards.
Advice & Implementation Support
Preparing documentation including SOAs, ROAs, product comparisons, investment summaries, insurance quotes and modelling.
Conducting preliminary research on superannuation, investments, insurance and strategy options.
Assisting with portfolio rebalances, contributions, rollovers, insurance applications and other advice implementation steps.
Client Onboarding & Review Management
Coordinating onboarding, fact finds, data collection, ID verification and file setup.
Preparing annual and ongoing review packs; maintaining up-to-date file notes and compliance records.
Working with accounting, mortgage broking and insurance partners to ensure seamless delivery of holistic advice.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in financial planning, accounting, superannuation, investments, client service or similar (advantageous but not essential).
Strong communication skills with confidence engaging clients.
High attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a small-team environment.
Proactive mindset; comfortable taking ownership and learning fast.
Full working rights in Australia.
What We Offer
Competitive pay plus superannuation (pro-rated for part-time) dependent on experience.
Clear expedited career progression: opportunity to transition quickly from Client Service / Associate role to Adviser.
North Sydney office location, close to metro and other public transport
Professional development opportunities — structured mentorship, on-the-job training and working closely with a lead adviser.
Exposure across advice, modelling, strategy, compliance, and client relationship management.
A supportive, friendly and collaborative team environment.
How to Apply
If you are passionate about delivering great client service, want to grow your career in financial services, and enjoy working in a team-focused, ethical, and professional environment — we would love to hear from you.
