The Role
The AVP Development Pipeline Management is accountable for end-to-end visibility of global pipeline health. This position is responsible for establishing a global, enterprise-accessible, single-source-of-truth for development data reporting and forecasting, as well as facilitating healthy handoffs of executed deals to regional operating teams. This position will be accountable for:
- Pipeline Data & Analytics: Enhances visibility into global pipeline health through establishment of global, enterprise-accessible, single-source-of-truth development reporting and forecasting.

Pipeline Performance Management: Establishes pipeline health and opening KPIs, conducts regular analysis (including attrition management), and identifies and coordinates opportunities across Openings & Conversions teams to improve performance . -
Pipeline Systems Development: Leads integration and evolution (with support from IT) of the global technology platform for hotel openings and conversions management; identifies, prioritizes, and sponsors efforts to leverage AI and automation throughout the hotel openings process . -
Openings Process Requirements: Establishes and maintains reporting, forecasting, and quality control requirements for key openings processes across regional and brand opening teams . -
Best Practices Facilitation: Monitors the effectiveness of regional and brand retrospective programs and facilitates the exchange of lessons learned and best practices . -
Development & Pipeline Governance: Provides requirements for Global and Regional Development Committees and establishes governance processes for Development handoffs at deal execution. -
Pipeline Transition Management: Facilitates handoffs between Development and regional Openings & Conversions Leader (operations) that are simple, seamless, and meet Owner and Hyatt expectations for preparedness to achieve opening performance goals .
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in hospitality development, operations, or related field
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience developing and delivering complex, business-critical reporting in a global corporate environment, with demonstrated ability to integrate data from multiple sources and leverage diverse Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot, MicroStrategy, Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of development deal and hotel financing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
Experience Preferred:
- Significant experience with development deal and hotel financing
- Experience with Salesforce CRM

The salary range for this position is $161,300-$200,000 . This role is also eligible for the Annual Incentive Plan, Long-Term Incentive Plan and Deferred Compensation Plan.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
