MWH manages multiple nonprofit associations that advance school facilities construction and repair across California—work that directly supports schools, students, and communities statewide.
We are a fast-paced association management and lobbying firm seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional to support association operations, educational programming, and meeting management.
This role offers broad exposure to association management, education program administration, and firm operations, with opportunities for growth and meaningful responsibility.
Position Overview
The Association Education Manager plays a critical role supporting association boards, committees, and educational programs while also providing administrative and operational support to firm leadership. This position works closely with association management teams, the Operations and Meetings Directors, lobbyists, and external stakeholders to ensure meetings, workshops, and trainings are executed seamlessly from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities
Education Programs & Workshops
- Support planning and execution of association educational programming, including workshops, trainings, academies, webinars, and conferences
- Assist with curriculum coordination, materials, and speaker management
- Draft agendas, confirm speakers, and coordinate virtual planning meetings
- Build and manage registration platforms and event apps
- Coordinate continuing education credits
- Provide onsite management for in-person education events
- Coordinate educational logistics for virtual and in-person trainings
- Support weekly marketing efforts related to educational programs
Meetings & Event Planning
- Manage logistics for meetings and events, including contracts, specifications, and on-site coordination (audio-visual, meals, etc.)
- Coordinate schedules, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including:
- Scheduling meetings
- Booking travel
- Submitting expense reports
- Supporting daily office operations
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other materials
- Assist with additional projects as assigned
Schedule
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
