The Mathematics & Mathematics Education Department (MME) invites applicants with an earned doctorate and research portfolio in Mathematics Education for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor position. Requirements
- Doctorate in Mathematics Education
- Strong record of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals
- Demonstrated excellence in grant leadership as a Principal Investigator (PI)
- Proven excellence in teaching at the university level
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven leadership of diverse, multicultural teams
- Understanding and enthusiasm for working in Singapore and Asia, with a cultural appreciation for the region
Additional Requirements for Associate Professor:
- High research impact in Mathematics Education
- Proven track record of grant awards, including being the PI of large-scale research projects
Responsibilities:
This position involves the development and teaching of curriculum and courses, and the development and conduct of research in Mathematics Education. A successful candidate will be involved in:
- Curriculum development and teaching
- Supervision and mentorship
- Research and development
- Knowledge transfer and collaboration
- For Associate Professor: community and professional development, international engagement, strategic leadership, and communication
