The Country Club of Hudson is in the charming town of Hudson, Ohio between Cleveland, and Akron. A family-oriented golf and social country club, we provide our members and guests with an impeccably maintained 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, a resort-style pool, beautiful tennis and pickleball courts, dining and banquet facilities, an accomplished culinary staff, and comfortable, welcoming surroundings.
A Hudson tradition since 1967 and home of the Hudson Jr. Invitational whose past winners include Phil Mickelson, John Daly and Rickie Fowler. In June of 2022 we opened the Jeffrey Camp Sr. Golf Center a 2600 square foot indoor outdoor golf training center for year-round use. This center houses 3 trackman simulators with indoor and outdoor access along with indoor putting green. You will have the opportunity grow as a professional learning from our Director of Golf that has been at facility for 45 years and Head Professional that has been at club for 20 years. Job Description Summary
The Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for assisting with the daily management of all aspects of the golf shop, golf operation at golf teaching center at the club.

- College Degree or PGM Graduate
- Thorough knowledge of general business administration practices and professional golf operations practices and procedures
- Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices necessary
- Registered or soon to be registered PGA associate or current PGA Member in good standing,
- GHIN, Golf Genius, Jonas, Whoosh and Trackman software experience
Essential Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Assist members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible
- Assume management responsibility in the Golf Shop and Golf Center during the peak periods ensuring service standards are maintained
- Oversee outside golf operations, ensuring that control of membership and guest services. Ensure set-up and maintenance of practice facility, golf center, course advisors, golf car maintenance, golf bag storage, and golf club repair activities. Work closely with the Outside Golf Staff and Club Administration to coordinate all golf related activities
- The opportunity to teach, club fit and conduct player development programs set by the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional. If not experienced in these areas, you will be able to learn from current golf staff members.
- Practice golf game and plays with members and guests as necessary
- Assist and administer the club tournament using Golf Genius. Assist in the development of promotional materials to communicate the programs to the members and guests as needed using Jonas email or other web-based marketing programs.
- Assist ordering and inventory of golf shop merchandise
- Answer telephones clearly and concisely, to schedule future starting time reservations and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner. Jonas and Whoosh systems are used for POS and Tee Times.
- Manage pace of play
- Complete special projects as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to continuously sit, stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting
• Must be able to bend, kneel, push and pull over the course of a shift
• Will be required to perform job functions outdoors and be exposed to sun, heat, humidity and other elements
• Must be able to work a flexible shift that includes early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and extended shifts
• Minimum of 18 years of age
