Overview

An Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of the day-to-day golf operations of the facility. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all club members and guests..

Experience Required

A member in the PGA with good standing or actively pursuing PGA membership (If a PGA Apprentice) in a timely manner.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of the golf handicap program, including roster maintenance and non-member billing.
• Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection using point of sale systems.
• Assist in tournament operations and weekly events including planning, pre-tournament contracts, post-tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow up.
• Able to conduct individual lessons and group clinics.
• Assist with men's, women's and junior golf events and programs.
• Assist in management of outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
• Assist in managing golf car operation, practice facility, and club storage service.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Assist with the administration of applicable staff via recordkeeping, work schedules, etc. in accordance with human resource policies.

Benefits

• Compensation: Salary, or hourly wage will be determined based on applicants experience. Applicant will receive 90% of all golf lessons, clinics, and schools. Paid thru bi-weekly direct deposit
• Insurance: Applicant will be able to select from the benefits package available to all full time employees of Heritage Golf Club.
• Association Dues: The club will pay the applicants yearly PGA Dues
• Employee Meals: Applicant will receive 50% off all lunch time food and beverage, 25% off on dinner or brunch service.
