We have offices in Vancouver, Toronto & Montreal and serve institutions, sub advisory clients, consultants and financial advisors across the country.As a Sales Desk Manager within our Advisor Business, you will work with our team of Internal Client Advisors (ICAs) that focus their efforts on Bank owned brokerage advisors. We are looking for a strategic, consultative, sales-minded individual who enjoys coaching and developing sales professionals. The role will be located in Toronto.
Job Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and lead a team of Internal Client Advisors (ICAs).
- Coach your team to leverage various business partners across JPM which include Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Market Strategists and Portfolio Insights Specialists
- Mentor your ICAs on how to best partner with their Client Advisors (CAs)
- Work closely with the Sales Management Team to develop and execute strategic initiatives with our clients
- Drive continued adoption of innovative technological tools that enhance your team's ability to have meaningful client conversations
- Act as a liaison to national sales management, Global Strategic Relationships, Marketing, Product Strategy and Business Intelligence by communicating information that will optimize our overall business model
- Have fun! This is a role for someone who enjoys coaching, mentoring and developing an amazing group of talented individuals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 5+ years of relevant sales and management experience in the financial industry
- Ability to develop a team through leadership, mentorship, expert coaching and sales acumen
- Deep understanding of and ability to teach capital markets and consultative sales
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- MBA/CFA preferred
