Description
The Acquisitions & Strategic Investments Group (ASI) is a centralized global function within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC).ASI works with JPMC's lines of business to evaluate, structure, and execute potential acquisition, divestiture, and minority investment transactions. ASI is also involved with a broad range of non-transaction activities (e.g., market monitoring/research, resolution and recovery, portfolio management) and various financial analyses to support strategic projects. As a Business Management Vice President, you will partner with Finance, Legal, the Valuation Control Group, Compliance, Principal Risk and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality portfolio valuations, reporting, and governance for ASI's strategic investments. You will own key management reporting, manage critical investment data, and drive process improvement and automation to increase transparency and control.
The team has individuals based in New York and London and is currently recruiting for a Vice President for our Midtown New York office.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of business management support to the ASI team including portfolio management, KPI tracking, and reporting
- Participate in the analytics and the preparation of the valuation materials across all portfolio companies
- Develop executive-level reporting, ad hoc analyses, and deep-dive reviews for senior management
- Coordinate with Principal Risk, Oversight & Controls, Valuation Control Group and other business managers to drive the team agenda
- Identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities across valuations, reporting, and data management, and scale successful solutions
- Curate market and competitive intelligence to keep the team abreast of FinTech trends and co-investor activity
- Lead audit preparation and control testing, ensuring adherence to published Standards and Procedures
- 6-8 years Finance and/or Business Management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong skills in structuring analyses and executive‑ready presentations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, drive cross‑functional workstreams, and influence across seniority levels
- Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and attention to detail; able to dive into details without losing the big picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 6-8 years Finance and/or Business Management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong skills in structuring analyses and executive‑ready presentations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, drive cross‑functional workstreams, and influence across seniority levels
- Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and attention to detail; able to dive into details without losing the big picture
